Hello again, and welcome to my new site.
It’s Brennan Thomas here. You may have known me as the fella’ behind the lens of Realphotographics and Strike Gallery. Well it has been 4 years and its time for a bit of a change. Introducing Strike Photography, a new entity, new location, new services... but same chap behind it all.
Space for a photographer is key. And when an opportunity came along for oodles of it (albeit in a decidedly dodgy state) I took it, gave it a lick of paint, added some expensive gear and now we have Strike Studios-a central city space dedicated to the creation of well, whatever collective minds can conjure up.
For those of you on your first visit I will not bore you with my life story, but here is a quick rundown of what Strike is all about. As a trained commercial photographer I like to be kept on my toes by new briefs and challenges. I like to approach my photography with a fresh pair of eyes each task, looking for the key elements in each scenario whilst keeping it fun with a relaxed, easy going character.
Gisborne is an amazing place, one of a kind in New Zealand and maybe the world. It has a character that I find sums up New Zealand as it was, and should be. Since my wife and I moved here 4 years ago from the capital the land and people of Gisborne and the East Coast have constantly amazed us.
Talk is cheap, so please make yourself at home and by all means take a look around at my photographs.
Choice.
